From the purportedly abandoned supercars of Dubai to the forlorn shell of an abandoned Lamborghini Diablo that isn’t all that it seems, we’ve covered a wide range of rotting vehicles, both exotic and familiar, on Urban Ghosts. Here you’ll find derelict vehicle graveyards, racing car cemeteries and even the charred shell of a burnt out Ferrari. But this Porsche GT2 RTS3 marks the first time we’ve featured a brand new high performance car photographed inside an allegedly abandoned building. The images are the work of motoring photographers Krash Hop Tik.
Despite the ageing plaster walls and exposed brickwork, it’s hard to imagine the building used to host the photo shoot was really abandoned. But its empty, utilitarian dimensions provide a perfectly contrasting backdrop against which to snap the exotic car. The Porsche GT2 was a heavily modified version of the 911 Turbo manufactured between 1993 and 2012. These photographs were also taken in 2012, making it likely that this Porsche GT2 RTS3 was one of the last ones produced by the famous German car maker.
